About Us

Growing up in Calvert County, Krystal’s love for animals and nature began at a young age. She grew up at the beach and in the mountains, always at the Calvert Marine Museum, and adventuring with her grandma. Grandma took her to weekly horseback lessons throughout elementary school where she became well-versed in the barn, though never made it to shows. In high school, she volunteered with Calvert Animal Welfare League (CAWL) and fostered kittens for a local rescue during the pandemic. The high school she attended had a program shadowing vet techs which brought only more love and passion for animal care! Currently, Krystal works at a local Veterinarian office and enjoys all the furry faces on a daily basis.
